Overview

MCN is a cystic tumor, almost exclusively in women, tail of pancreas.

Symptoms

  • Abdominal pain
  • Palpable mass
  • Usually asymptomatic

Diagnosis

  • CT/MRI
  • EUS-FNA
  • Cyst fluid CEA high
  • No communication with duct

Treatments

  • Surgical resection (distal pancreatectomy)
